Jawun Secondment — Marnin Studios

Selected for a secondment with Jawun, an organisation that empowers Indigenous-led change through partnerships and skill-sharing between corporate Australia and Indigenous communities.

I spent 8 weeks in Fitzroy Crossing, WA, working with Marnin Studios an Aboriginal arts centre attached to a women's shelter, developing a design strategy and visual identity to help translate their products for an Australia-wide market.

The experience included a week of cultural training that transformed the way I see the world, and gave me lasting ways to contribute to organisations and communities beyond my own workplace.
