Crime Night S1 Keyart

I art directed the key art for Crime Night, leaning into a film noir aesthetic to set the tone from the first frame.

Getting the balance right was the trickiest part of the brief, the show needed to feel comedic and playful without ever making light of real crime victims. The solution was to lean fully into noir tropes rather than the crime itself. We shot with real blinds in studio to get that authentic, striped lighting falling across the face, a small detail that does a lot of the tonal work, giving the image genuine cinematic beauty rather than a gag or parody.
